A real story.
Not a startup myth.
H2APEX was not born out of a pitch deck. The company grew out of more than 20 years of experience with renewable energies in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
When the photovoltaic market came under pressure due to the EEG reforms in the mid-2010s, we did not wait. We realigned ourselves – consistently, out of our own conviction, in the direction of hydrogen. In 2018, a new production facility for LOHC technology was built in Laage, financed from our own funds and state subsidies.
Today, we produce green hydrogen, develop and build turnkey plants and, together with LIKAT Rostock, Stralsund University of Applied Sciences and the IRES Institute, conduct research into storage technologies that will continue to change the market. With AKROS Energy, we have established our own subsidiary for long-term chemical storage – based on patented in-house developments.
