    Lloyd’s Register certifies the APEX hydrogen storage container (10 x 1,000 litres) with 60 bar operating pressure and a total hydrogen storage-capacity of 54 kg for broad industrial applications.

    German Federal Minister of Economics Robert Habeck visits the APEX Group. He was accompanied on his inaugural trip to Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania by the Minister of Economic Affairs, Infrastructure, Tourism and Labor, Reinhard Meyer, and Claudia Müller, the Federal Government’s Coordinator for Maritime Affairs and Tourism. Robert Habeck: “Germany defined 62 projects to be funded by the state. Five of them from Mecklenburg Western Pomerania and one here at APEX Group.”

    HyBit Bremen becomes reality – APEX Group builds electrolysis for the first hydrogen project in the German steel industry. EWE and swb award the contract to the APEX Group for the construction of an electrolysis plant for the decarbonization of the ArcelorMittal steel works in Bremen. It is considered one of the largest industrial hydrogen projects of its kind in Germany and Europe.

    First hydrogen filling station for heavy-duty vehicles in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania goes into operation. In the presence of the Minister of Economic Affairs, Infrastructure, Tourism and Labor MV, Reinhard Meyer, Managing Director Peter Rößner performed the symbolic first refueling of a truck.

    APEX Group realizes hydrogen living laboratory “H2-Wyhlen” for EnBW. Energiedienst AG (Rheinfelden), an energy company EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG subsidiary, commissions the APEX Group with a project in the double-digit millions. APEX will build a 5 MW electrolysis plant for the production of green hydrogen as a system integrator.
