Peter Rößner | CEO
Peter Rößner has been Chief Executive Officer of H2APEX since 2022. He is committed to advancing the development of the hydrogen economy, a field in which he has been active since 2017 — initially as an advisor during H2APEX’s first financing round, and later as CFO from 2019 to 2022.
He brings extensive experience in entrepreneurship, finance, and banking. He is a board member of the Hydrogen Energy Cluster of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, a member of the National Energy Committee of the German Economic Council, and a member of the Economic Senate of the BVMW.
Axel Funke | CTO
Axel Funke is the Chief Technology Officer at H2APEX. He brings his expertise in engineering and innovation to his role. With extensive experience in the hydrogen sector, Funke has previously led pioneering projects in the field of renewable energy and clean technologies. At H2Apex, Axel Funke uses his background to drive the development of cutting-edge solutions for the production and use of green hydrogen.
Bert Althaus | CFO
Bert Althaus ist Chief Financial Officer und Geschäftsführer bei H2APEX. Over the past 10 years, he has played a key role in the transformation of privately managed companies in the digital environment towards the capital market in various management roles and has now turned his attention to renewable energies by joining H2APEX. Thanks to his international experience and capital market expertise, Bert Althaus is the ideal addition to the management team.
Gunnar Krueger | CBDO
Gunnar Krueger holds a degree in business administration with a focus on project and corporate finance and brings his experience and knowledge to H2APEX as Chief Business Development Officer. With more than 20 years of experience in the international renewable energy business, Gunnar Krueger has built up expertise in the areas of photovoltaics, wind, concentrated solar power and biodiesel (Fame), making an important contribution to sustainable and successful business development.
